1. Letters From a Hopeful Creative
Two creative industry coaches from the UK, Sara Tasker and Jen Carrington, have collaborated on this podcast project and each episode they give useful and thoughtful answers to questions from people working in creative businesses. They focus on topics marketing (Sara is an Instagram genius!), money issues, automating parts of your business, pricing and more.
2. Dear Handmade Life
The Dear Handmade Life podcast features interviews with creative and craft business owners about all kinds of topics: from productivity to pricing, self-care to marketing, and much more.
3. Side Hustle School
This daily podcast has short episodes which are case studies about small businesses – mostly side-businesses that sometimes grow into something bigger. Host Chris Guilleabeau narrates the case studies which are often in creative areas, and draws out useful lessons for you to use in your own business.
4. Seize the Yay
Ex-lawyer Sarah Holloway turned tea-maker turned “funtrepeneur” interviews interesting people about how they’ve found a way to embrace their fun and passions – either through work, a hobby or a combination of both.
5. The Simple Pin Podcast
If you’re curious about using Pinterest for your handmade business, or already are but want to improve how it’s working for you, then the Simple Pin Podcast has lots of actionable tips and tricks to make Pinterest a great source of traffic and sales.
6. Marketing School
Hosted by two big internet success stories, Neil Patel and Eric Siu, this is a daily podcast with short episodes, each related to something really specific about online marketing. Not every episode will be relevant but they already over well over a thousand episodes so you’re bound to find something useful!
7. Online Marketing Made Easy
Amy Porterfield hosts this long-running podcast which originally focused mostly on Facebook but now goes beyond that to all kinds of online marketing. Each episode is very action-focused and often comes with a cheat-sheet or other downloadable so you can put what Amy talks about right into action.
