As much as we love them and wouldn’t swap parenthood for anything – toddlers can do your head in at times. Well puppets Pearl, Owen, Mummy and Daddy are here to help. Direct from the imagination of mother, teacher and author Lisa Driehuis – these puppets star in a delightful series of books for toddlers designed to encourage them to do a variety of things with-out us having to nag!
There are currently five books in the series covering subjects from going to bed to brushing teeth, packing away toys, going to the toilet and using manners. The books use teaching techniques and parenting strategies that are positive and focus on the use of games, songs and rhymes.
Reward charts and puppets are available to complement each book and complete the motivational package.
If your child is an angel and does not need help in these areas then the books stand alone as a fun read! They are also a thoughtful and fun gift for one to five+ yr olds that their parents will appreciate too!!
The author is particularly proud that the books and reward charts have been designed and printed in Perth and the puppets hand made locally too!!
