Guide Dogs WA are doing some great things throughout our state and at the moment they’re working on a project with a group of children with varying levels of disability, baking nutritional dog biscuits for the Guide Dog puppies.
Students from Kensington Secondary School and a vision impaired student from MLC have all been getting involved and have loved spending time in the Guide Dog services kitchen. Below are some pics from one of their recent baking sessions! A big thank you to Coles for donating the ingredients to Guide Dogs WA.
You can support our fundraising by purchasing a bag of dog biscuits at the next Perth Upmarket event on 26 March 2017 for just $8. The flavours available will be ‘Gidgee’s Vegemite Delight’ and ‘Jock’s Peanut Butter Dream’!

Find them outside on the southern side of Winthrop Hall (near the lift) where you can get your biscuits and and meet a few of the puppies in training.
Our target is to fund a puppy in the Guide Dog program and after establishing a community partnership late last year, we are now 10% of the way there! Thank you to those of you that have supported our cause!! You can follow our progress through our online fundraising page.
